the 1970s were an important decade for horror films with several classics that changed the genre here are notable horror movies from the 1970s then we will be deciding if this was a good year
1970 wasn't a very good year for horror we had a bunch that nobody has probably heard of like Equinox and many more that dont have reported box offices we also had vampire lovers which people loved and count yorga vampire and House of dark shadows and Mark of the devil and Dorian gray and cry of banshee and a few Italian horror films the Average Review Score: 54.9% and since all of these movies were super cheap they dont have reported box offices.
now i just invented a new rule if it doesn't have a reported box office I am not naming it but it will still eb included in my average review score. In 1971 it has a 14 million dollar box office despite getting mixed reviews.
