scream is a masterpiece its funny, its scary, it has amazing pacing and i could just talk about it for hours and never get bored and never stop theres just so much to love it has an amazing opening scene amazing killer reveals, and an amazing villain with an amazing voice and an amazing protagonist.

2. candyman 1992

candyman is a masterpiece that explores its themes well, has great writing, an amazing story, a amazing villain again with an amazing voice, and amazing pacing and a amazing soundtrack

3. the invisible man 2020

the invisible man is an amazing mix of themes and style, it has great pacing a amazing story a great villain, great scares, great suspense, shocking moments, and a great sense of style, amazing acting and is a great movie and used to be my favorite movie

4. the conjuring 2

the conjuring 2 is an amazing sequel thats suprisingly better than the original and was my favorite movie for a while, it has amazing pacing, amazing acting, great themes that are explored well, its scary and it understands that you cant have horror if you dont have love there is a great music scene and edd and lorraine feel like there in love during this movie.

5. pearl

pearl might be a little too slow paced for some people but i think slow paced doesnt mean bad or boring. it has an amazing story, some amazing kills, a very interesting and complex protagonist, and is a very interesting movie and theres a lot to love about it.

6. it follows

it follows is a masterpiece, it takes an interesting concept and makes it have amazing execution. it doesnt rely on horror movie cliches it tries to do something new and creative. i love how you never know what year or season it is there are scenes with more modern stuff and scenes where people are wearing a heavy coat and its windy and scenes where people are swimming and it doesnt show which season either.

7. midsommar

midsommar is a unique disturbing and amazing movie. its so hard to watch that i have to respect it. it has amazing storytelling, great realistic writing, terrifying scenes, funny moments, buetiful directing, great performances, great pace, and more.

8. doctor sleep

doctor sleep has my favorite story of all of these movies, the story is so unique for a horror movie and not cliche. it has amazing performances, amazing pacing, buetiful moments, great directing, great writing and more

9. cabin in the woods

cabin in the woods is a amazing horror comedy it has everything i want from a movie scary scenes and funny scenes, it has the best writing out of all of these movies and does a great job at parodying and deconstructing horror movies. it has an amazing ending with a really fun 3rd act and is just a really good movie

10. the ring

the ring is an amazing movie it has great directing, has my favorite scene in movie history, the scene thats my favorite is the scene that the whole movie is building up to and it works really well and is super scary and i have seen it a bunch of times. i know this movie has its haters but i love it and think its a must watch for horror movie fans
