pg 13 horror movies have a reputation for being bad just this Friday a pg 13 horror film called Tarot came out and currently has a 12 percent on rotten tomatoes which is an extremely terrible score but unfortunately, that's average for a pg 13 horror movie. I have seen a ton of pg 13 horror films when I first became a horror fan and they sucked there are very few that I like and even most of the ones that I do like I don't even like that much, one of the most common complaints is that pg 13 horror films are about d*ath but they don't show any d*ath which doesn't make any sense, and tarot leaves no horror cliche unturned, like every pg 13 horror movie they put a bunch of teens making stupid decisions and splitting up and have as many jumpscares as possible and have them all d*e one by one. the people who defend these movies' main argument is that they are gateway horror films but they all feel like they were meant to be R and all feel like their ratings held them back and all felt like they are still for teens, adults, and, horror fans even when there pg 13 and don't feel like there for kids, a movie that more pg 13 horror films should be like is scary stories to tell in the dark which feels like it's aimed towards kids which is what more pg 13 horror films should be like. how to make more films like scary stories to Tell in the Dark and less like Tarot is to get more tickets to movies like scary stories and stop buying tickets to cash grabs like scary stories tell in the Dark, speaking scary stories to tell in the dark it is getting a sequel that nobody asked for and will probably suck.
