here I will be discussing horror movie villains that are new so no Ghostface or Candyman or Leatherface or Pinhead or any more since they all have had previous installments in their franchises these can be based on books and stuff. these horror villains all have the potential to come back in a later installment so sorry but Pearl won't be on this list since the x trilogy is wrapping up with maxxxine and Pearl won't be in that. ok now we have established the rules, these are horror movie villains that have been popular recently and have the potential to be like Freddy or Michael or Jason and have a bunch of sequels and be pop culture icons. I wish I could put Abigail or the villain from Totally Killer and Gabriel but those movies aren't very popular.

1. Megan

m3gan is the next horror icon and has become super famous and loved, before this movie came out it was already famous for its character and the dance and was a box office success making nearly 200 million a sequel was greenlit immediately and will become the next Chucky. the dance was originally in the trailer but they added it back in once it went viral on TikTok and they sent many m3gans into NYC m3gan became a super popular Halloween costume and drew Barrymore even dressed up as her.

2. John Carver.

usually, when we want a good bloody slasher we have to wait for one of the big 5 to get a reboot or sequel Ghostface, Chucky, Micheal, freddy, Jason but we got a new one with John Carver and he will become the next horror icon, the movie was a box office success making 3 times its budget and got good reviews, and jhon carver was a great killer with some nice bloody kills and a great costume and I think this will be a movie horror fans and slasher fans will be watching every thanksgiving making him even more of a horror icon

3. Art the clown

nobody could have guessed Art would become so famous, this franchise has found a lot of fans, art the Clown is becoming mainstream more and more with every movie, and Terrifier 2 went to theatres unrated and still made nearly15 million dollars from good word of mouth. art the Clown has become famous for his design kills, and the way he acts, and is unforgettableinminin his movies.
