Abigail is a fun super bloody movie. It has a great cast and in most movies there’s like one or two characters you remember but in this movie I am going to remember all of them with the standout being Dan Steven’s he died such a good job at being an asshole his performance is one of the bests I’ve seen in a horror movie in a while, all of the characters get a lot of personality and are all interesting. And Alesha wiers performance is really good but there is one scene where she has to cry and she is smiling and the cry looks fake but other than that she gives a really strong performance. And mellissa Berraras performance improves with every movie she’s in. some other great performances is angus cloud rest in peace, he does a great job in this movie, and Kathryn newton who has been in four horror movies and does great in this movie, Kevin duran does a great job and is great at being stupid but strong but nice, and William caltlett does a great job two unfortunately he gets the least amount of screen time and he could have had a bit more screen time but he does good with the screen time he gets. And the movie has some really fun scenes. And the movie has a lot more emotional scenes than people expect. This movie does have a bit too little of Abigail and I don’t like how the villain changes every act and some scenes do drag on a bit and I did predict the order people died. But those complaints are small I still loved the move and thought it was entertaining to watch. The movie also had great sound design with a great soundtrack. This movie also had some great kills and explosions. the movie also takes a long time to reveal that abigial is evil which will suprise some people. there are some twists at the end that i didnt like but it didnt bother me too much. and there is a great scene where we learn about characters who dont want to talk about themselves. Also, i like how they create their own vampire rules. Abiagail is also an S tier villain shes mean playful goofy and super enjoyable, there is one great villain that is the villain of the year and horror movies are known for their villains and i feel like Abigail will be the best villain of the year. There is also this really fun dance scene that is creative and enjoyable. and unfortunately despite positive reviews, the movie is failing at the box office making 15 million out of a 28 million dollar budget, which is unfortunate. the movie also does a great job of blending humor and horror and its unfortunate that if this movie fails which it most likely will the directors careers will get hurt by it. i also like the colors in this movie and the orange and black colors.
